ORIGIN STORY

I remember moving to Los Angeles over 10 years ago and being completely overwhelmed. I had no idea what was worth doing and what was a rip-off, scam, or tourist trap.

The goal with LosAngeles101 is to share the best events, food, and destinations with tourists and residents alike, so when someone is new to town they can use LosAngeles101 as a resource for understanding the city.

This website is run entirely by me, Chan. I am a Geographer with a deep love for exploring the world and sharing it with others.

I founded LosAngeles101 to be a travel and cultural source for tourists, newcomers to LA, and life-long Angelenos.
